2017 Picnic

    On June 10th we held the 3rd annual Alumni Picnic. There was fun all around. We played games like 3 legged race and tug of war. Anyone having field day flashbacks? There was plenty of food and friends to pass around.

  Like 2016 we had a blind raffle and donated all the money received to a deserving Central family. We started a new award this year called Most Valuable Alumni (MVA), this year went to Kevin Hudson. Kevin Hudson is also the patriarch of our deserving Central family.

  This year we had some amazing sponsors, who donated money and raffles so that this amazing event could happen. 

   We would like to thank ALL of our sponsors. We couldn't have done it without you! Everyone who attended said that it was an awesome experience and that they will be back. The alumni committee decided that we were gonna collect goods for a very awesome charity this year called FRIENDS OF AUNT FLO, they collect feminine hygiene products for women and young ladies that can not afford it. 

    Next year's event will be on June 9th. We can not wait to do this all over again. :)

2017 Picnic Planning

It's that time again!!!!

                                               
      It is time to start thinking about the 2017 Alumni Picnic!  Do you own a small business? Would you like to promote that business at the picnic? If you said yes then contact Amanda at (931) 241--1803 and she will fill you in on the details on how to become part of our sponsor team, before March 17, 2017

      Have items you would like to donate to the raffle? You can contact Amanda with your details and she will hand it off to our raffle coordinator, Chrissy.

     This year all proceeds from the picnic will be going to a Central Family in need. We will continue taking submissions on a family/person in need until April 1st. All you have to do to submit someone is either email us at Montgomerycentralalumn@gmail.com or message us on https://www.facebook.com/mchsalumn/ 

     Last year at the picnic we were able to give away over $200 worth of goodies to people and raised over $200 for our deserving family.

    Remember if you have something to put on our event calendar, then you can email us with the details and it will be added. If you know one of our fellow Indians that has passed away and you would like them added to the memorial portion of the website, please email us a picture if possible; be sure to include the name and dates for the individual that has departed this life.  

     If there is something that you would like featured at the picnic then you can also contact us with your ideas.

2016 Picnic

The 2nd annual Montgomery Central Alumni Picnic was held Saturday, June 11th at the Central Civitan building.

A wonderful time was had by all. The food and fellowship were amazing. We enjoyed reuniting with old friends and making new friends as well. We had -- people in attendance and we were happy to see each and every one. Hopefully, attendance will continue to grow with each future picnic!

As some of you may know, Nick and Chasidy Greene have been experiencing a lot of health problems with their son Harper. All donations and proceeds from the raffles were presented to their family. We were able to raise $207 to go towards health care and travel expenses.

  

Thanks to everyone who volunteered their time, talent, & sponsorship to make this picnic a reality! Thanks to everyone who came out to celebrate the greatest school that's ever been.

Next year will be bigger and better. Can't wait to see y'all there! :-)

2016 Picnic reminder

2016 Alumni Picnic

                       It is getting to be that time of year again! Party time! Our 2016 picnic will take place at the Civitan Building (the boy scout building) on June 11th at 10 am. We will have raffles, door prizes, and food. All proceeds from the raffles will go to Harper Greene, a very deserving young man in the community. Please come out and show your support.

On May 30th we had our first annual alumni picnic.

We visited with old friends we haven't seen awhile.

Of course, we got to see some of the friends we still talk to on a regular basis

we just had fun remembering school and some of our favorite memories, like hanging out with good friends after school or the weather on graduation day. The day was all about remembering our wonderful school on the pond, after all, we are all.......

Even a nasty looking storm couldn't stop us from having a good time, but that is what we have always done, had a good time no matter what. I don't know about you but I can not wait until next year. It will be June 4, 2016. I am sure we will make it bigger and even better (I am not sure how we will top it) but I am sure we will. I hope to see you there. Be More Like Wade 5K

       As most of you probably already know Wade Morgan, our very own Mr.Central was taken from us way to early. We are still mourning the loss of this great man that everyone has said was the sweetest, kindest man that anyone could ask for. He will be greatly missed.
      One of our other alumni has decided that Wade's name will live on. How? Well by organizing a 5k. Don't worry you don't have to run it, you can walk. The best part of it, all the proceeds will be put into a scholarship for a student graduating from Montgomery Central. How great this that?! I applaud them.
       I know your next question is gonna be how do I become a part of this great cause. Well I just happen to have that information for you.
